SeaWorld San Diego is one of the biggest attractions in San Diego with roller coaster rides, animal shows and close encounters with sea animals; it is a thrill for children of all ages.
San Diego Zoo and Zoo Safari Park are situated at Balboa Park and the zoo alone offers over 4,000 rare species for you to visit. The wild animals in the safari park are a treat as you take a safari ride to see these beautiful creatures enjoying their natural habitat.
LEGOLAND is a 128 acres family theme park in the beautiful area of Carlsbad. The theme park offers sixty rides, shows and attractions with the theme park being aimed at children twelve years old and younger. During the summer they open up the water park which is a welcome break from the sunshine with two sandy shorelines and twenty fun LEGO slides. They also have their own Sea Life Aquarium where you can wander through, see the sea animals up close and gaze at their beauty as they swim by.
The USS Midway Museum is a one of a kind museum and is pretty new to San Diego. The USS Midway is one of America’s longest servicing aircraft carriers and today it has over sixty exhibits and twenty five aircrafts. Take a tour around the ship which was home to so many military personnel or take a ride in one of the flight simulators on board.
Old Town is a place that shouldn’t be left off your things to do when visiting San Diego with its authentic buildings and boutique shops. There are seventeen museums and sights to be seen in San Diego Old Town and it’s the perfect place to buy all your souvenirs and find some superb Mexican food.
Balboa Park is the largest park in Northern America with sixteen museums, sixteen gardens and eight attractions including the San Diego Zoo. Soak up the history and culture in the museums before taking a leisurely walk through the magnificent landscaped gardens and then sit together as a family and enjoy a picnic in the sun.
